[ 01 ]About this notice

This starter notice describes the proposed privacy approach for On My Show Events and enquiries through this website, email and WhatsApp. It needs review against our actual operations before adoption.

The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its rules have phased commencement. References below to statutory rights apply as the relevant provisions come into force and where they apply to the processing. You can contact us with a privacy request now.

[ 02 ]Information you share

The contact form asks for your name, phone number, email address, event type, preferred date, estimated guest count and message. You may also share event requirements, venue details and correspondence by email or WhatsApp.

For a confirmed event, relevant billing details and payment records may also be needed. Please avoid sending card details, passwords, government ID documents or private guest information through a general enquiry. Share another person’s details only when you are authorised to do so.

[ 03 ]Email, WhatsApp & the form

The current website form prepares a message in your email app or WhatsApp; it does not submit to an On My Show website database. Opening a draft is not the same as sending it. We receive your enquiry when you send the message through your chosen service.

Your email provider and WhatsApp process information under their own terms and privacy notices. When you open WhatsApp, the prepared message is passed to that service. Check the message before sending it and choose a channel you are comfortable using.

[ 04 ]Why we use information

We use relevant information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotes, plan and deliver an event, coordinate approved suppliers, communicate booking updates, manage payments and handle complaints or legal obligations.

Where consent is required, it should be freely given for a clearly explained purpose and can be withdrawn. We may also use information where another lawful basis under applicable Indian law permits it. An enquiry is not permission for unrelated marketing; any optional marketing choice should be separate.

[ 05 ]Sharing & service providers

We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared with the team and providers who need it for the agreed service, such as a venue receiving a booking contact or a supplier receiving delivery instructions.

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., and its fonts and animation scripts load from Google Fonts and the jsDelivr content network, so those services receive your IP address and browser details when a page loads. We do not run a database or collect form submissions on the site: when you use the contact form, your own email app or WhatsApp opens with your message ready to send, so what you send is handled by your email provider and by WhatsApp (Meta) under their own terms. These providers may process information outside India under their own arrangements and applicable legal restrictions. We may disclose information where legally required or necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

[ 06 ]Website data & storage

Our hosting provider may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details and access logs when serving the website. Fonts and script files load from Google Fonts and jsDelivr, so your browser contacts those providers and shares connection information with them.

The site uses browser session storage to remember whether the introduction has played. This is a presentation preference, not a form submission. The current site has no dedicated advertising or analytics integration; any future tracking should be reviewed and this notice updated before it is introduced.

[ 07 ]Retention & security

Keep enquiry and event records only for as long as needed for the stated purpose, or for a necessary legal, accounting or dispute-related period. When the purpose ends or consent is withdrawn, delete information unless a lawful reason requires retention.

Enquiries that do not become a booking are kept for up to 12 months after our last contact, then deleted. Records of confirmed events, contracts and payments are kept for the period required by Indian tax, accounting and company law, and for any dispute that arises in that time. If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so within 30 days unless a legal reason requires us to keep it, and we will tell you which.

Access should be limited to authorised people, with reasonable measures to protect records and respond to incidents. No storage or communication method is completely secure.

[ 08 ]Your choices & privacy requests

Write to info@onmyshow.in to ask about your information, request correction or erasure, withdraw consent, or raise a privacy grievance. Tell us which enquiry or event your request relates to; we may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity.

As the applicable DPDP provisions take effect, rights include access to information about processing, correction and erasure, grievance redressal and nomination of another person to exercise rights in the circumstances allowed by law. Withdrawal may affect services that need the information; we will explain any required retention.

Contact us first about a grievance. If unresolved, you may use the statutory complaint route, including the Data Protection Board of India, when available and applicable. See the official DPDP Act and the commencement notification.

[ 09 ]Children & notice updates

The enquiry service is intended for adults arranging events. Please do not submit a child’s personal details in a general enquiry. If an event requires children’s information, the purpose and any necessary parent or lawful guardian consent must be agreed before collection, in line with applicable law.

If you think a child has shared information with us, contact us so we can review it. This draft should be updated when services, providers or legal requirements change. Material changes should be communicated appropriately; a website update alone does not replace fresh consent where it is required.
